Weiming Christian Fellowship began as a small gathering of Chinese-speaking believers in Burnaby, British Columbia, united by a shared desire to worship God faithfully and to build a community that reflected the Kingdom values of justice, love, and grace.
Over more than three decades, that seed has grown into a diverse, multigenerational church family of more than two hundred active members, drawing from Mandarin-speaking, Cantonese-speaking, and English-speaking backgrounds. We are bound together not by language or ethnicity, but by a common Lord, a common mission, and a common love.
Incorporated as a registered Canadian charity (No. 787853316RR0001), Weiming Christian Fellowship is accountable to the communities we serve and transparent in all that we do.

A small group of Mandarin-speaking believers began meeting in a home in Burnaby, seeking fellowship and Bible study in their heart language.
The fellowship was formally incorporated as a registered Canadian charity, establishing a foundation for transparent governance and accountable ministry.
Membership grew significantly as Vancouver's Chinese-speaking community expanded. New ministries for youth, seniors, and newcomers were launched.
Weiming broadened into an English-language congregation while honouring its Mandarin and Cantonese heritage, becoming a genuinely multicultural fellowship.
With over 200 active members and a full slate of community programs, Weiming continues to be a beacon of faith, hope, and love in Burnaby.
