The people who guide Weiming are ordinary men and women who have said yes to an extraordinary calling — to serve.
Jesus defined greatness in terms of service: "Whoever wants to become great among you must be your servant" (Mark 10:43). That verse is the operating principle of every leader at Weiming Christian Fellowship.
We cultivate leaders who are spiritually mature, deeply rooted in the Scriptures, and genuinely committed to the flourishing of the people they serve. Authority at Weiming is always exercised in the context of accountability, transparency, and community.
Our leadership team includes both paid pastoral staff and a large body of volunteer lay leaders who give sacrificially of their time and gifts to serve our congregation.
Our pastors bring decades of combined experience in ministry, counselling, and community development.
With over twenty years in pastoral ministry, Pastor David brings wisdom, warmth, and a deep love for Scripture to the pulpit every week. He holds a Master of Divinity and is passionate about intergenerational discipleship.
Pastor Grace leads our pastoral care ministry, walking alongside members in seasons of grief, transition, and growth. She is a trained counsellor with a heart for the vulnerable and the overlooked.
Jonathan brings creative energy and genuine relational depth to his work with students and young adults. He is committed to building a generation of followers of Jesus who are unashamed of their faith.
Our elder board and ministry team leaders serve as shepherds, administrators, and examples of faithful Christian living.
Weiming Christian Fellowship is governed by an elected Elder Board that provides spiritual oversight and organizational accountability. The board meets monthly and operates under a clearly defined constitution that upholds the primacy of Scripture, the participation of the congregation, and the highest standards of financial integrity.
As a registered Canadian charity (No. 787853316RR0001), we are required to file annual reports with the Canada Revenue Agency and to make our financial statements available to members upon request. We take this responsibility seriously because we believe transparency is a form of trustworthiness.
Members of the congregation are invited to attend our Annual General Meeting each spring, where financial reports are presented, ministry highlights are shared, and elder elections are held. We believe that a healthy church is one where leadership is both respected and accountable.
We welcome conversations with anyone who has questions about our leadership, our governance, or our vision. Reach out — we would love to talk.
